My name is Piotr Feret. Since 2002 I've been dealing with historical reconstructions, and in 2005 I made my first armour pieces. Since 2010 I've been a professional armourer. My armour reconstructions are based on historical sources like extant armour pieces, effigies, iconography and depictions in art.
I make my replicas from high quality materials. I use many kinds of steel: mild steel, medium carbon steel and spring steel. There is possibility to make tempered pieces of armour. Armour elements are hand forged without using any machines like press and mechanical hammers. Some pieces like couter, poleyn, greaves, helmets etc. are forged on hot.
